Recent News
Philanthropy
Brother Nathan Welch participated in the homecoming court this past fall. With help from his fellow brothers Brother Welch won homecoming king. Congratulations.
Brother Jim Kauffman won Zeta Tau Alpha's Big Man on Campus philanthropy to raise Breast Cancer Awareness. Almost every fraternity on campus participated in this philanthropy and the Delta Chi Brothers and their Families joined together to win this spectacular award. Congratulations.
Brother Richard (Trey) Gieseck III participated in Alpha Phi's Ivy Man benefitting The American Heart Association and Cardiac Care. Sadly he was runner up, but we are proud to say the least.
Social
Brothers John Whiteside, Jay Guilmart and David Cross provided our house with a great social calendar this past fall and spring (2009-2010). This included many social events with other sororities, fraternities and our beloved formal events. Incuding the Barn Dance, which was once again held at Brother Ranan Rawling barn, the White Carnation Ball, and the Spring formal which occured in Gaitlinburg, TN.
Associate Members
This Fall 23 associated members were initiated contributing to our 140+ brothers actively involved on the Purdue Campus.

Basement Improvements
| The floor in the basement was redone over the summer and looks outstanding. The fourth floor bathroom was also renovated. Both renovations to the house look outstanding. Thanks to Brother Tom Edson for being the liaison between the house and the contractors on this extensive renovation. | |
Possible Future Projects
Renovating Bathrooms
We have recently renovated a few of our bathrooms, but there are still three that are quite outdated. We are going to get rid of the old, ugly tile and counter tops and update it to match our other bathrooms. Our new bathrooms are very impressive, well maintained and have helped greatly with rush and we look forward to updating all of them.New Carpet
Over the Summer of 2010, the house will be received new carpet to replace the older carpet.Grand-Prix Car
The house has missed out on racing in the Grand Prix race for the last three years now because we don't have a car. We have many gear heads ready and capable of putting a car together, but estimates put it at about five thousand dollars to build a car. If we had a cart in the race it would bring the house together and be a great opportunity for alumni to come back and cheer the Delta Chi cart on to victory.Donations
Thank you for making a donation to the house. We appreciate donations to Delta Chi Nationals and the Delta Chi Education Foundation, but if you would like to donate specifically to the Purdue chapter it will be greatly appreciated. Without alumni support we would not be able to do many of the house improvements or events we enjoy here at Purdue.
